Jen Jones is the founder of Creative Groove, a Los Angeles-based company that provides creative services/consulting, group instruction, and private coaching solutions. A seasoned full-time freelancer, Jen has written more than 450 published pieces for various print and online outlets in all areas of interest. She is also an associate editor and photographer for the Los Angeles edition of Thrillist. Along with contributing to various publications, Jen has authored more than 40 middle-grade non-fiction books for publishers like Enslow Publishing and Capstone Press. Her copywriting portfolio is wide and includes clients ranging from women’s websites to B2B to movie studios.

On the group facilitation front, Jen can also be found teaching for MediaBistro, StoryStudio Chicago, and the Creative Dig. A trained Co-Active coach, Jen is a graduate of the renowned Coaches’ Training Institute and works privately with clients to realize their dreams—writing-related and otherwise!
